- From February –mid April, I worked as a 7th grade Language Arts Teacher. I taught five periods of 7th grade English, focusing on the Columbia Teachers College Writing Workshop. - From mid –May to mid June, I returned to the school as a Reading Consultant for the 7th grade. I am teaching five periods of Reading, working with many students who are SPED. I work with them on their reading comprehension and vocabulary and am supervising an independent novel project. Duties include teaching, mentoring, grading, classroom management and the processing of quarterly and final grades.
